The Eastown Community Garden Committee supports a shared green space behind the ECA office at 415 Ethel Avenue SE. Here neighbors come together to grow food, build community and connect with nature. Located in the heart of Eastown, the garden features individually assigned plots available each growing season.

The Garden Committee hosts occasional workdays and informal gatherings, creating opportunities to meet neighbors and strengthen community ties. Gardeners often share tips, tools and harvests, and help each other with weeding, watering, and other seasonal tasks. These shared efforts help build connections and make the garden a welcoming, collaborative space for all.
