Important update about Eastown Streetfair:

The past year has shown us so much incredible adaptation and resiliency by community members, business owners, employees, and front-line heroes. The ECA, like so many of you, is eager to get back to a sense of normalcy and has been keeping a watchful eye on the status of Coronavirus spread in the community.

At each turn of the pandemic, the ECA has kept the community and public health at the forefront of our decision-making. With the rising COVID-19 cases in Kent County, a more transmissible Delta variant, and the recent increase to a Substantial level of COVID-19 transmission in Kent County, the ECA has made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s in-person 48th Annual Eastown Streetfair scheduled for Saturday, September 11, 2021.

It is with much disappointment that we make this announcement, but we hope you will follow our updates as we coordinate alternative fundraising efforts and continue to create safe opportunities for the community to engage and connect in Eastown.
