Board of Directors propose refinements and indemnification language to clarify by-laws
Posted on: January 30, 2018 | Posted in: News
The Board of Directors recently took the opportunity to revise and clarify the organization’s bylaws. The bylaws are the framework for the Eastown Community Association’s operation and management. Bylaws solidify the purpose of the organization, define its structure, specify duties and rights of its membership, and establish roles for the Directors and staff. At the Annual Meeting, the Board of Directors will ask its members by way of a formal vote, to accept a wholesale update to the bylaws. In accordance with the current bylaws, the proposal is available on the ECA website here. Additionally, we have included an itemized memo of major changes and the bylaws presently in place.
