GRPD Unveils New Crime Mapping Program
The Grand Rapids Police Department recently unveiled a new crime mapping feature, which provides public access to crime information for the City of Grand Rapids. The crime data is preliminary information from reports made by officers of the GRPD. Future investigation and analysis may change crime classification and other information. The mapping database contains data from the past 90 days and is updated within 24 hours of an incident.
This program is free to the public and accessible to anyone with an internet connection.  Simply go to http://www.crimemapping.com/map/mi/grandrapids The site is user friendly, but you can also access a users manual by visiting the city's website at www.grcity.us

Crime Free Lease Addendum
Attention Eastown Landlords and Property Managers:  Contact the ECA to get a copy of the Crime Free Lease Addendum.  Once signed by the tenant and landlord, this addendum becomes part of a legal contract/lease and will help you to evict any tenant that is involved in criminal and/or drug related activity.
